Las Bambas is committed to ongoing and open dialogue with the communities in the regions where it is based.  

Earlier this month Las Bambas published the 28th edition of Llanka’ininchis, a magazine aimed at informing host communities in the province of Cotabambas about recent events that have taken place in the region.  

Llanka’ininchis, Quechua for ‘Good Work’, has been published every four months since 2010. It is used to communicate social initiatives undertaken by Las Bambas in communities and throughout the province and their results. This includes education, healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure projects, as well as environmental monitoring, the promotion of local cultural events and support for local and regional government initiatives. The magazine is published in Spanish by the Las Bambas Communications team.
