Las Bambas continues to be rated as one of three top mining companies in Peru for attracting and retaining employees, according to reputation specialist, Merco Talent, in its 2021 industry ranking.

In fact it has climbed one place higher in the MERCO Businesses and Leaders 2021 general ranking, compared with last year, when Las Bambas placed 68th out of 100 Peru companies with the best reputation.

Carlos Castro, Las Bambas Corporate Affairs and Business Development Manager, said the talent ranking recognises the mine operation’s corporate business character.

“A few months ago, Las Bambas placed third in the mining sector ranking of Merco Talent, and 26th overall, among the 100 best mining companies for attracting and retaining professional talent in Peru,” he said.

“I am extremely confident that Las Bambas has the most outstanding professionals in Peru, positioning the mine operation to successfully face future opportunities and challenges. Our corporate policies and values further strengthen Las Bambas’ reputation.”
